We have anentirely new idea in two issues of Plebiscitestamps, which will naturally fall under the armis-tice group of issues. The first issue is that ofSlesvig. We understand that these stamps areissued for use during the interregnum for that por-. tion of Schleswig which by its plebiscite voted topass from the control of Germany to that of Den-mark. There is a complete set from 2^/2 pfennigup to 5 marks, the currency still remaining lower values are all of the same design as theillustration, the word Plebiscit above and thename Slesvig and value below the central circlewith two lions. The mark values are larger; thecentral design shows a landscape, in the center ofwhich is a valley with a river flowing through the right hill are houses and on the left aretrees, the sea showing in the distance. A shieldbearing the value is upheld on either side by a lion. The second Plebiscite series is for East consists of a surcharge S. O. 1920 upon thecurrent series of Poland. Just what the purpose ofthis issue is we do not know. From Esthonia we receive three stamps of recentissue. The first, 35-penni, is in rose-color. Wethink this design is rather anovelty in stamps, as we do notrecall ever having seen any-thing
