Journalists and their supporters protested outside the Egyptian embassy in London against the ongoing mistreatment of journalists in Egypt. Several journalists have been imprisoned, and some killed during violent clashes. The demonstration, organised by the National Union of Journalists and the International Federation of journalists drew in support fro Aljazeera whose reporter Abdullah Al Shami and cameraman Mohamed Bader remain detained in Egypt. Earlier this year British cameraman Mick Deane and Habiba Ahmed Abd El Aziz, a 26 year old and a journalist from Gulf News were shot dead.
