NEWPORT, (May 17, 2017) Lewis Duncan, provost at Naval War College (NWC), gives opening remarks during a Freedom of Navigation and the Law of the Sea Workshop held at NWC. The purpose of the workshop is to develop a better understanding of international law concerning freedom of the seas, especially freedom of navigation and overflight for warships and military aircraft.
