Millennium Dome, Greenwich, London, UK, at dusk. The River Thames is in the foreground. Built for the millennium celebrations in 2000, the Dome is 365 metres in diameter, with the canopy rising to a height of 50 metres. Between 2005 and 2007, the inside of the Dome was redeveloped as the O2, a large entertainment district and music concert venue. Photographed in 2006.
