Besides these brooks, the underground water also feeds the swamp, because the swamp basin and surrounding valley are about10—12m below the top of surrounding hills, and the level of the underground water lies about10m down from the surface of the hills, so that the level of the underground-water situates alittle higher than the level of the valley.
