F-35B Lightning II Joint Strike Fighters assigned to the United Kingdom’s 617 Squadron prepare to launch from the deck aboard Her Majesty's Ship (HMS) Queen Elizabeth at sea on 10 October, 2020. Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 211 is deployed aboard HMS Queen Elizabeth to conduct training with their counterparts in preparation for the UK's Carrier Strike Group deployment this spring. The Marine Corps is supporting this historic deployment in support of USMC, DoD, National and Allied objectives.
