A demonstration in support of 'Black lives matter' with protesters of mixed heritage 'taking the knee' as a sign of respect for murdered George Floyd.


Following the murder of George Floyd in Minnesota, USA by police officers, demonstrations to affirm that Black Lives Matter occurred throughout the world. On Sunday 7th June people of various ethnic backgrounds gathered in Highgate, London, UK in solidarity with all of those in the US, UK and beyond who have suffered injustice because of their colour and to 'take the knee' as a sign of respect for 'Black lives matter'.
