A sheet of canvas, stretched on a frame, has an opening the exact shape of the strikearea to be considered by the pitcher. Back of the opening is a pocket communicatingwith a trough behind the sheet, leading to the strike runway shown. A secondtrough extends across the front of the sheet and communicates with the ball runwayshown. Pitch a ball so that it passes into the opening in the canvas and you make astrike, the ball being returned in its special runway after recording the strike on aregister in the runway.
