Pagoda Forest at Shaolin Monsatery

The UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Pagoda Forest next to the Shaolin Monastery near DengFeng, Henan, China. The Pagoda Forest is on the edge of Shaoshi Mountain, and along w/ the temples and monasteries attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists annually. Schools in the area near the monastery and pagodas still teach martial arts and students can be seen practicing drills not far from the Pagodas. Of all the areas at the Unesco site, the Pagoda Forest is a bit more peaceful given the smaller number of crowds that come here, plus the pagodas themselves are surrounded by a fence to keep tourists at a distance.
