A treatise on the medical and surgical diseases of women, with their homopathic treatment .. . Although we do not believe in the use of pedicle clampsas a rule, we present cuts of some, that the student may be-come familiar with them, if he desires to put them in use.(See Plate XV; also, chapter on Ovariotomy.) The Spencer Wells clamp has had many friends. With ita very powerful, but quite unnecessary, pressure can beexerted upon the pedicle by means of the handles, which canafterwards be removed. For myself I prefer the Dawsonclamp. (See Ovariotomy.) Plate THOMAS CLAMP.
