The grass over the whole, or nearly the whole, of the surface of theground, grows luxuriantly, of which the most prominent genera are thefollowing:—Ftiirena, Cpprus, Eleocharis, Cimbopogon, Fimbrislylis,Panicuni, Setaria, Sporobolus, Anthisliria, EriacJme, &c.
