With the renovation of the Sportlaan in The Hague 4 80 year old monumental Elm trees which were of the special Elm 'den haag' hybrid cultivar were moved to the other side of the street. After the transplantation a metal frame was placed around them to give them support against the wind for a few years while they settling in the ground.
