Belfast, Ulster, UK - 11 June 2017. Belfast is a city that cannot. seemingly, leave any wall untouched without a splash of colour. The graffiti, especially in the Cathedral Quarter, is often vibrant and exciting. Some is just high-spirited fun, other examples verge on real art. And then, of course, on the darker side, we have the tribal and political murals of Republicans and Unionists that adorn various parts of the city. This mural in Newtownards road tackles one of the great obsessions of Belfast folk. In fact, they have managed to turn a world-famous shipping disaster into a fine tourist attraction. Ulster folk will always tell you that there was nothing actually wrong with the iconic Belfast-built ship; it was all the fault of the English captain, Scottish navigator and frozen Canadian water. Nice buck-passing!
