Recessive inheritance in zebra finches. In the first generation, all the offspring show only the Grey color, but carry the Pied gene, since Grey is dominant and Pied is recessive. For the second generation, a Pied hen is used instead of the Normal split to Pied hen, resulting in 50% Grey and 50% Pied offspring.
