Community Activists Remove Fence Illegally Erected in Name of "Homeland Security"

Detroit, Michigan - Community activists in southwest Detroit celebrate after tearing down a fence blocking access to part of Riverside Park. The fence was erected after 9-11 by the billionnaire owner of the Ambassador Bridge, which links the United States and Canada, wiping out basketball courts and a softball field. Residents turned to direct action after the bridge company ignored court orders to remove the fence.
