COLUMBUS MUSKMELON. Seedsmen, in common with the rest of mankind, feel themoral obligation on them of honoring the Great Discoverer,hence we have the Columbus Muskmelon. We much regretthat our plants of this variety, taken from our cold frame,failed to root. We must depend on Mr. Livingston for adescription of it: of good market size; skin a bright, glossyyellow color when fully ripe, and is nearly hidden by the verythick whitish netting.
