White Hart on shop in North Street, Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire. This White Hart is the original emblem of the 1st Herts Light Horse Regiment which was especially made for the regiments barracks n 1862. When the regiment disbanded in 1868 it was rescued and mounted above a shop. In 1983 the shop was demolished and the White Hart underwent a three year restoration being returned in 1986 and mounted above the shops entrance.
