Arrow with composite stone tip ca. 1479–1458 New Kingdom Fifteen arrows () and two bows (, .212) were included in a cache of weapons found on the slope of Sheikh Abd el-Qurna hill. The arrow shafts are made of reed. The tips are made of quartz flakes stuck with a resinous gum to a section of wood that is lashed to the reed shaft.
