3D printing space construction testing facility. Zero Launch Mass 3D printer producing a bench during testing at the Swamp Works at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA. This printer is being developed for construction projects on the Moon and Mars, but could also be used in remote locations on Earth. Zero launch mass is the concept of using materials at the spacecraft's destination, rather than launching the raw materials from Earth. The printer is using pellets made from simulated lunar regolith (rock) and polymers. Photographed on 9 February 2018.
