Roads were closed and crowds lined the streets in Cardiff city centre this morning as the Queen arrived to present new regimental colours to the Royal Welsh Regiment. The regiment, led by the Goat Major and the regimental mascot, Shenkin, marched from Cardiff Castle to the Millennium Stadium where the formal ceremony will take place. The Queen will then be the guest of the regiment for a celebratory dinner.
