Trusses of iron are used tosupport the long sills of open cars; these trusses being independent of the springaction of the truck but passing through the truck. The Railway Companys standard brake mechanism, and brake shoes, motor sus-pension, wheels, axles, fenders, and bearings are used. One or two motors can be applied. There are 198 trucks of this class.
