The tracks are free of debris in the new 34th Street-Hudson Yards terminal station on the 7 Subway line extension in New York on its grand opening, Sunday, September 13, 2015. The new tunnel from Times Square terminates 108 feet below street level at West 34th Street and Eleventh Avenue at the doorstep of the rezoned 45 block Hudson Yards development. It is the first subway station to open in 26 years and the first line extension in 60 years. (© Richard B. Levine)
