King Sebastian I. was a teenager king. After the death of his father he was crowned with 6 years. As a fanatic catholic Jesuit he had the plan to fight against the Islam. He began a crusade against Morocco and in the legendary battle of Alcacer Quibir suffered a heavy loss. Almost all of the soldiers died in this battle. Dom Sebastian is since this time told to be disappeared. How his body never was found, it was created a myths around the young king. After his death Portugal fell to the spanish crown for more than 60 years. When the portuguese suffer difficult times they are waiting for the Salvador Sebastiao to come to rescue the country. This myths is called the "Sebastianism".
