This is a most useful and economical bulb, which we be- lieve has escaped the attention of the American florist. _ In all the European cities it is grown in very large quantities for market. With very light protection it will withstand our most severe American Winters when planted outside, and will stand gentle forcing under glass. Under ordinary cul- tivation, they flower toward the end of May, and can be made specially useful for Decoration Day purposes, either as a cut flower or in pots. The flowers are large, on long stalks, and very showy. We offer seven distinct varieties. Our selection was made from at least fifty sorts when seen growing in Europe. We offer large, selected bulbs.
