It does seem, and we say itwith all respect, that this change emasculates the Declaration of Purposesof its force, its intention, and its possibilities to accomplish good lessons and re-sults. If we are wrong we would like to have it pointed out. There is one thingcertain: a change in the Declaration, is a fair .subject for respectful believe in free speech, and that in a proper spirit any member of the Order,however humble,should express himself freely on so important a thing as a changein the Declaration of Purposes.
