John Edward Warnock, born 1940, co-founded Adobe Systems Inc. with Charles Geschke (1939-2021) in 1982, Mountain View, California. Adobe Systems Inc. became a world leading graphics and publishing software company. Warnock served as President of Adobe for two years and then as CEO for sixteen. Warnock and Adobe revolutionized publishing, graphics, Web and electronic document technologies. Over the years Warnock and Geschke received numerous awards. In 2009 he and Geschke received the National Medal of Technology and Innovation from President Obama. Photo shows Warnock speaking during the 1990 Seybold conference in San Francisco, CA.
