A car crossing the single lane steel bridge over the Clark Fork River, at Noxon, Montana. The Noxon bridge was constructed of a steel, nine panel, rivet-connected Parker Through Truss design. It connects the town of Noxon to Montana Highway 200, crossing over the Cabinet Gorge Reservoir on the Clark Fork of the Columbia River. The bridge has a span of 600 Feet ( Meters), with a width of Feet ( Meters) It is considered a single lane bridge and was built in 1922. Noxon is located in Northwest Montana, on State Hwy. 200, in Sanders County. The town has a population of about 200 permanent residents. This image was shot with an antique 3¼ inch Petzval lens and will show signs of distortion and softness, especially towards the edges. This is intentional and part of the aesthetic.
