France, Meurthe et Moselle, Flirey, Flirey military cemetey contains the remains of soldiers who died during the battle of the Woevre. It was created in 1919 to remember the fightings of Mort Mare and Bois le Pretre forests. In 1924 the remains of 4407 soldiers, of which 2657 lay in individual graves, 1750 in an ossuary along with 22 russian, 3 belgium and 3 romanian soldiers were exhumed from the military cementeries of Flirey, Fey, Seicheprey and the Woevre and put together in one military cemetery
