The ancient cathedral of St. Vitus, or Wenceslas, tower over Prague from its mountain location outside the Old City. A statue of St George in the main courtyard celebrates the myth of him killing the dragon. Behind him is the obelisk. The obelisk at Prague Castle is a granite monolith and World War I memorial designed by Jože Plečnik
