Established in 1880, Jan Tokunaga is the second oldest clothing store in Yokohama, which has been run by the same family for several generations. Originally a hat shop, the store transitioned to tailor-made suits for government officials and officers of major companies. Then in 1961, the store moved to its current location near Yokohama Station where they enjoyed improved sales as a result of greater foot traffic.
