Buddhist monks from all parts of Cambodia once came to study an advanced curriculum in this historic building at the Wat Bangkok complex in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. The Wat Bangkok complex was once the site where monks from all parts of Cambodia came to study an advanced curriculum including math and science. During the Pol Pot regime (1975-1979) this building, built n the early 1960's, served as the education building and was streffed with bullets and rocket propelled grenades. Today this structure serves as a dwelling for dozens of monks but the pock marked walls remain.
