Original kitsch Austrian published Easter greetings card postcard intended for the French market, depicting a cute little boy wearing traditional lederhosen (leather shorts) style shorts, hat with feather, hen & cockerel, basket of eggs, Heureuses Paques (Happy Easter) written on front, published by & Co. Vienne, posted 11 April 1914 from Paris, just before the outbreak of WW1.
Published by W. R. B. & Co. (Wiener Rotophot-Gesellschaft, Blüh & Co. series 3155 "Vienne" indicates the intended market was mainly France. "ROTOTAGLIO" printed on reverse. Lederhosen are a common piece of clothing in Austria, Bavaria and other parts of the eastern Alps.
