FORT LEE, Va. -- First Sgt. Nestor Rivera leads his Delta Company, 16th Ordnance Battalion, troops down B Avenue during an installation run in recognition of the 243rd Army Birthday June 14. Well over 1,500 troops – including Airmen from the 345th Training Squadron, Marines from MCD-Fort Lee, medical personnel from Kenner Army Health Clinic, garrison support staff and others – participated in the event that concluded with remarks from Command Sgt. Maj. Nathaniel Bartee, CASCOM CSM, and the formation singing Happy Birthday and the Army Song.
