Black and white photograph of a fly gently perched on the leaf of a weed. In the center of the leaf is a small drop of water that collected from the morning mist. The foreground is in focus, and the rest of the weedy plant and background blurred to bring out the detail in the fly. It’s head, limbs and wings are particularly detailed, and the black and white element of the image nightlights these details. There is something almost robotic about the look of the fly. The symmetry in it’s wings reflect the symmetry in the leaves of the background.
