Proboscis aborted, minute; palpi porrect to just beyoud froQS and clothed with long hair; frons smooch; eyes large, roanded ; antennje of male bi- pectinate witli long branches to apes; head and thorax clothed with long rough hair and without crests ; fore tibia with corneous process at extremity and long curved claw on inner aide; tarsi with tufts of hair on the joints; abcUimen with rough hair at basa but without crests. Fore wing rather n irrow, the teriaeu obliquely curved ; veins 8 and ,5 from near angle of cell; tt from upper angle; 9 frona 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell; 5 obsolescent from middle of discocellulars; 6, 7 from upper angle ; 8 anastomosing with the cell near base only. A.
