The Theatre Royal, King Street, Sydney, NSW, Australia c. 1880. The Theatre Royal was Australia's oldest purpose-built theatrical venue built in 1827 in George Street. After it burnt down in 1840 the theatre was rebuilt at the King Street location in 1875. From the page of an old photograph album, an early sepia photograph.
