A reachstacker container handler removes a returning empty container from a clean truck at the UMTRA tailings project, Moab, Utah. Before shipping from the site, containers are capped and washed to remove contaminated dirt from the outside. They are then removed from the dirty truck bed to be placed on a clean truck for transport to the rail head. Dirty trucks do not leave the work site, and clean trucks do not enter the contaminated area. Empty containers returning from the rail head are removed from the clean trucks and then placed on a dirty truck to be refilled.
