Cooper's Bakery, High Street, Wednesfield, early 20th cent. The sign above the shop reads 'R E Cooper, Baker'. The man on the horse and trap is Thomas Lovatt, baker and delivery person for Cooper's Bakery. He received a gold medal for high quality bread-making, and continued to work at the shop after it became Biddolph's, before moving to Springhill bakery in Sedgley. The lady in the shop doorway is thought to be Mrs Cooper or her daughter. Photographs
