Courtis, our neighbor, who is famous as a squash raiser, tells us that it makes just as good pies as a mar- row squash. This mammoth, which has been raised to weigh over one hundred and fifty pounds, lias a brilliant, showy, red skin. The flesh is very thick, and in quality is about equal to any of the Mammoth class of pumpkins, whose real value is for stock feed. The purest stock to be obtained is not perfectly pure.
