As with the Goat Moth, the larva spends a considerable time in its second stage of existence before making preparation to pupate, and this adds to the mischief, as two years' feeding on the part of a hungry. (f«maU) FigAff larva means the disappearance of " many ; The dull whitish larva has a yellow tinge, with a good assort- ment of black spots, and blackish-brown on the first and last segments. The pupa is reddish-brown, and may be found inside the food-plant wrapt in a cocoon made of H 97.
