It ismore than usually oval in form, and in general character approachesvery closely to the ovate implements from the river-gravels. From themanner in which it is fashioned, and from its being found in companywith worked flints, unquestionably belonging to the Surface Period, Iregard it, however, as of Neolithic and not of Palagolithic age.
