Army Staff Sgt. Jeromy Shoell, a civil affairs member of the Farah Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT), carries a load of boys athletic shoes, which were donated by a local Afghan contractor for the children, into the Farah City Orphanage just two days before Christmas, Dec. 23, 2009, Farah, Afghanistan. Along with shoes, winter coats, soccer uniforms for the boys and school uniforms for the girls, candy and school supplies were donated from 10 different Afghan contractors. Also, one of the contractors donated and delivered a 40 foot connex box, which the orphanage will use for storage.
