This week representatives from throughout the 4th Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division completed a radiation safety officer certification class taught by the brigade’s chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear team. Capt. Oliver Klein and Staff Sgt. Gerhard Y. Borabora discussed radiation units and measurements, biological effects of radiation and radioactive equipment operations. One of the things the Soldiers learned was how to properly inspect, clean and utilize the AN/ VDR-2 Radiac set.
