Sheep, Hole of Horcum, North York Moors, Levisham, Yorkshire, UK

A photo of sheep grazing deep in the depression known as the Hole of Horcum which lies between the English villages of Goathland and Levisham, both in the heart of the North York Moors. The hills which surround the Hole of Horcum are covered in woodland and heather in full bloom. The shot was made in late summer. A fallen tree in the foreground is a sign of the harsh weather conditions of this area.
