The finest churchedifice in Sunbury is in reality a monument due in largemeasure to the financial aid of Mr. Haas. In Sunday schoolwork he was known as the John Wanamaker of the Luth-eran church, as he spent more hours in the delightful workof superintending and teaching in that department of churchwork than any man in his Synod.
