Female Golden-browed Chlorophonia (Chlorophonia callophrys), perched, intense green feathers with a blue line on its nape, Costa Rica

This gorgeous little green bird is a female Golden-browed Chlorophonia. A lifer for me, taken in December of 2019 in Costa Rica. The first attempt to take this image was not successful, I waited five hours with no luck. Fortunately I had the chance to visit the same area the next day and after waiting a couple of hours I was able to capture this image. The female and male showed up for less than one minute and then they flew away. Bird photography is a combination of knowledge, luck and patience!
