It showsthe plaster casts in an articulator in the originalocclusal position of the case, with a duplicate ofthe lower apparatus which the patient wore to correct the open-bite malocclusion,and move all the lower front teeth to the left. The upper apparatus for thebodily labial movement of the incisors is not shown. After the lower left firstpremolar was extracted in this case, a No. 22 arch-bow was made to passthrough open-tube attachments on all the front teeth to correct and hold them inalignment. The bow was fixedly attached to the right lower cuspid though its Fig.
