Sailors, assigned to Beach Master’s Unit (BMU) 1, guide to shore Landing Craft, Air Cushion 27, belonging to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, during a training exercise on Camp Pendleton, California, June 10, 2021. ACU 5 conducted this joint exercise with 1st Landing Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, in order to strengthen and refine the Marine Corps’ abilities to conduct ship to shore operations as part of a Naval Expeditionary Force-in-Readiness.
