Seaweed. Rock pool containing a variety of green, red and brown seaweed including Rainbow wrack (Cystoseira tamariscifolia, centre left and top left). Rainbow wrack is a species of brown seaweed which appears an iridescent turquoise colour when submerged but is green/brown colour when dry. Seaweed occurs on the lower shore zone on rocky coasts.
