SILVERDALE, Wash. (May 12, 2022) –Trident Refit Facility, Bangor’s (TRFB) non-destructive testing (NDT) examiner team pose for a photo. The responsibilities of the NDT examiners include approving all NDT procedures, training, certification examinations and to conduct annual oversight of all NDT inspectors for each of the NDT methods that an NDT inspectors is certified in. Each week, TRFB leadership personnel visits a different production area of the facility for a first-hand look, which is referred to as a “gemba.”
